The first phase involved the complete renovation of the existing male and female toilet areas which also incorporated the cleaners wash and store-room. The entire existing interiors including floors and ceilings, all the old plumbing and electrics, cubicles and doors were removed and the new install completed. Due to the staff having to use the old dis-used toilet facilities as a temporary measure, McLennan had to work to a tight schedule of just three weeks, which we successfully accomplished.
Phase two began immediately after the completion of phase one. This was the construction of a new kitchen breakout area within the main office, in order to achieve this we had to demolish the old toilet facilities and remove dividing walls to give an open plan look and feel to the area. The floors and walls had to be repaired and levelled and the installation could begin. Due to the location of the breakout area it was decided with the help of the ladies at WFEL, that the colour scheme needed to be bright with plenty of light. White units and light blue walls were chosen and then 2x26watt down-lights added for maximum effect.
The staff at WFEL were delighted with the outcome and couldn’t wait to start using the new area!
