Emergency Escape Lighting

The purpose of emergency escape lighting is to ensure the luminance is provided promptly, automatically and for a suitable period of time in a specified area when the power supply to the normal lighting fails, to ensure that persons within the building can evacuate safely.

The installation shall ensure that emergency escape lighting fulfils the following functions:

• To illuminate escape route signs
• To provide illumination onto and along such routes as to allow safe movement towards and through the exits provided to a place of safety
• To ensure that fire alarm call points and fire equipment provided along escape routes can be readily located and used
• To permit operations concerned with safety measures

Once installed and commissioned we will issue you with all the required information for Operation and Maintenance and can offer Quarterly and Annual testing services.
